Bring friendship and intimacy back into your relationship.

DR. Jason herndon, couples therapist for bipoc couples across NC

Ready to feel secure and connected in your relationship?

You remember a time when betrayal, conflict, and stuckness weren’t your everyday, but it’s been a minute. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?

You’ve come to the right place.

I’m Jason, and I help BIPOC couples just like you: ones that have it in them to build healthy, thriving relationships, but just need the support to get there.

I help my couples find enjoyment, satisfaction, and deeper connection by equipping them with the tools they need to develop better conflict management, shared values, and friendship.

What it’s like to work with me

Many of today’s solutions for couples fail to consider the unique experiences of culturally diverse clients, leading so many to feel like therapy might not be right for them. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is tailored to you, and always with your specific goals in mind.

First, we examine your history and your present to identify your strengths and those areas that are causing the barriers you’re experiencing in your relationship. We will filter those through your unique cultural values and background so we have a clear sense of where you’re each coming from with your goals. Then, we work on your friendship skills, conflict management skills, and develop a sense of shared meaning that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence you need to thrive in your relationship.
